The Beaverdale Neighborhood Association is excited to announce National Night Out is back for 2021!
National Night Out is an annual community building campaign that promotes police community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
NNO occurs the first Tuesday in August. This year it is August 3rd and will run from 6:30-8:30 PM. As in last years, the location for Beaverdale’s NNO is the corner of Beaver and Franklin Ave.
This is a family friendly event! Below are activities you will be able to enjoy from 6:30-8:30 PM
- Isiserettes (performing at Westminster Church north parking lot at 6:30)
- Popcorn, water and dog treats from Westminster Church
- Puppeteer
- Free hot dogs at Price Chopper
- 50 cent ice cream cones at Snookies Ice Cream Shop
- Painting station at Players Sports Bar & Grill
- Visits from Drake Athletics, DC & Marvel Superheroes, and Des Moines’ own superheroes (DM Police Dept. and DM Fire Dept.)
