Bluegrass wrap up 2023

The eighth annual Beaverdale Bluegrass Festival wrapped up Saturday evening with a crowd of thousands enjoying free music, food trucks, beer and lots of great music.
Held under the lighted Hazen Water Tower in Tower Park, the weather was warm and dry, if a little hazy from Canadian wildfire smoke drifting over the Midwest.
The free concert featured seven bands on two stages. Concertgoers brought camp chairs and blankets to enjoy the warm air and listen to toe-tapping music.
A large group of volunteers from the Beaverdale Neighborhood Association organized the event and worked hard to book the venue, bands, food trucks, fencing, police protection and plenty of cold beer. A big thank you to all the volunteers and sponsors who make the festival possible.
