BNA Board Minutes 10-3-24

Attendees: Nick, Eddie, Josh, Chris, Missy, Jesse, Kylie

• Meeting called to order
• Agenda approved unanimously
• Minutes from September 5 approved unanimously
• Treasurer’s report – approved after commentary
• BNA member and public comment: None
• New member Don Piper nominated. Following discussion of non-cycle nominations and approvals, final approval for Don will be at November board meeting.
• Booverdale: Therese, Eddie and Josh have made assignments. Therese to attend October 16^th public affairs committee to discuss process, needs and future
• Holiday Happenings: Jay sent out assignments. Meeting held to brainstorm ideas. Bike ride noted as a separate function from BNA. Additional support from businesses needed to help sell wrist bands for bar crawl.
• Public Affairs update: Don joins BNA Board. Isaac LeFluer will transition to PA chair role. Discussed future of Booverdale with PA committee. Quarterly meeting agenda approved and signed off
• Other business:
  • Move to BBB for future meetings? Jesse to coordinate with Chris Coleman.
  • Website relaunch: No update
  • November board and quarterly meeting are the same night.
  • Jesse attended a course by the Community Foundation on being a board member. Found it beneficial.
  • Signature disclaimer discussion for all BNA events. General discussion needed on insurance.
