The third quarter meeting of the Beaverdale Neighborhood Association will be held Tuesday, August 11 at 7:00 pm at the Northwest Community Center, 5110 Franklin Avenue.

The meeting will feature a presentation by Abby Voyna with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention about the Central Iowa Out of the Darkness Walk on September 20. Luke Dickens with Vinyl Cup Records and Danny Fast with Reborrowed will also be talking about their businesses.

Des Moines police officer Trudy Paulson will update neighbors on the latest crime statistics, and the BNA Board will update the public on the Bike Bus Poll, conducted earlier this year.

All Beaverdale neighbors are welcome to attend. Refreshments are available at 6:30 pm with the meeting starting at 7:00.
